Healthy Ground Turkey Recipes
If you’re looking to cut down on calories without cutting back on flavour, ground turkey is going to become your new best friend. It’s generally cheaper than ground beef but has a really similar flavour, with fewer calories and less saturated fat.
That being said, since ground turkey is a lean protein, it can dry out super easily, so you need to make sure you’re using the right recipe to get it super moist and delicious! Luckily for you, I rounded up some of my favourite ground turkey recipes that are delicious and nutritious.

Yes! In my opinion, ground turkey is the best substitute for ground beef. You can swap it out in pretty much any recipe and it has a very similar flavour. In most cases, you won’t even notice that it’s turkey instead of beef, especially with the right spices and sauces!
Is ground turkey healthy?
Yes! Ground turkey is super healthy. It’s low in calories and has less saturated fat than your traditional ground beef.
How many calories are in ground turkey?
100 grams of ground turkey has about 200 calories, whereas 100 grams of ground beef has 332 calories.
Ground Turkey Meatballs
One of my favourite things to make with ground turkey is meatballs! You can serve them with pasta, zoodles or even in a wrap. They’re also great for meal prep – you can make them ahead of time and store them in the freezer to enjoy later.
