History is littered with very questionable tattoos, especially when the ink involves romantic relationships. But even so, one woman has stunned social media users after she revealed that she got a portrait of her ex-partner tattooed on her face. Despite the ex allegedly having 'cheated' on her.
TikTok user Narally Najm (@narallynajm13)took to the platform to share intimate details of her love life after a dramatic turn of events led to her discovering that her former partner, Laura, had apparently been unfaithful to her.
In a clip posted to the video-sharing platform, Najm confessed that all she ever wanted was to be "happy" with her little family. But those plans were shattered after she found "receipts" allegedly proving that Laura had been cheating on her, even while she was in labor with her son, King.
In another video, she posted a cute snapshot of the family laughing together in front of a bathroom mirror in matching pajamas.
And while the video told one story, the caption told an altogether more heartbreaking one for Najm: "Thinking we were the perfect family. Just gave her a son a week ago, we bought a home and everything seemed so real... Just to find out she been cheating... Even while I was in labor [broken heart emoji]."
Reactions-wise, who are we to say what's right or wrong or insane? But Najm's reaction was definitely unique, that's for sure.
While a lot of scorned exes tend to opt for revenge or maybe holding a stereo above their head on the front lawn ala John Cusack in Say Anything (clutch movie) when they are looking for a way to vent their heartbreak, this mom-of-one decided that she was actually going to do the opposite.
Instead of the traditional routes, she got a portrait of her ex-partner as well as her name tattooed on her face. The TikToker has since revealed to her followers the new permanent piece of art on her cheek, as she smiled into the camera.
Alongside the video was the caption: "When everyone jealous of me because I have DADDY'S face tatted on me even though DADDY cheats."
Unsurprisingly, many of Najm's 280,000 followers were left shocked by the decision. Comments immediately flooded the replies section, with most people asking Najm what she was thinking when she did this.
"We are watching someone's biggest future regret..." wrote one user.
"Whatever kind of love this is…I don’t EVER want to experience it," added another.

Other TikTok users also questioned the tattoo artist, with one person writing: "How can any tattoo artist allow this to happen."
"If I were the artist.. I wouldn’t allow it," read another comment.

Despite the backlash though, Najm seems pretty happy with her decision, which is lucky, I guess, given it's hardly the most subtle of tattoos. In fact, she went ahead and decided to upload 15 more videos showing off her new tat as well as three more new additions all dedicated to Laura. On her neck and right arm, she got Laura's name and another picture of her ex-partner's face etched into her skin.
Of course, given that this is the world of social media, this could all be a ploy to get a few extra followers (hey, I'm sat here typing a story about it, so she's gaining plenty of attention with her ink). Either way, let's hope she doesn't regret any of those tats, because that's going to be an almighty expensive laser removal.
